HAMBURG, N.Y. – Patrick A. Quinn, who has more than 25 years of experience in enrollment management, financial aid, and admissions, has been appointed Vice President for Enrollment Management at Hilbert College announced President Cynthia Zane, Ed.D. His appointment is effective Sept. 8, 2015.
In his new role, Quinn will lead Hilbert’s admissions, student financial services, student records, and marketing efforts to build and execute a strategic enrollment plan that will meet the college’s enrollment goals.
“I am confident that Pat’s extensive experience in enrollment management will be extremely valuable in our efforts toward achieving our enrollment goals,” Zane said. “We are pleased to have a leader of his caliber to serve in this vital role.”
Quinn most recently served as an associate for enrollment management at Scott Healy & Associates, where he was a consultant for a variety of higher education institutions. He previously served as Dean of Enrollment Management & Student Affairs at Pratt Munson-Williams-Proctor College of Art and Design, where he increased the incoming class by 50% in one year. Quinn also spent 12 years at Utica College as Vice President for Undergraduate Admissions. At Utica, he was responsible for bringing in several of the largest freshman and transfer classes in the school’s history. Utica also experienced growth in the number of students living on campus and in total undergraduate enrollment during his tenure. Quinn also has stints at University of New Haven, Western Connecticut State University, Adelphi University, and College of Aeronautics on his resume.
Quinn, a native of Long Island, NY, earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Science in School Counseling from St. John’s University.
