HAMBURG, N.Y. – Hilbert College’s Digital Media and Communication Department will host two separate camps this summer. The 2nd annual Summer Film Camp for kids will run July 10-14, and the inaugural Summer Media Camp for aspiring journalists will run July 17-21.
SUMMER FILM CAMP
Campers will work together to write, direct, and shoot their very own short film. This camp is for kids in grades 7-12. This Summer Camp is great for those interested in filmmaking, acting, directing, editing, graphic design, and more. Campers will have access to Hilbert’s state-of-the-art media equipment for shooting and editing the short film. Registration is open now and runs until June 1, or until all spots are filled. Registration also includes lunch.

SUMMER MEDIA CAMP
The Hilbert College Media Camp is a 5-day summer camp that allows students, ages 12-18, to get hands-on experience in the media world. Professional, award-winning media faculty help students dive into the field by doing interviews, creating photographs and videos, and meeting reporters from newspapers and TV. Registration is open and runs until June 9, 2017, or until all spots are filled.
