HAMBURG, N.Y. – Hilbert College’s second annual Giving Day will take place on Thursday, March 1, 2018. Giving Day is a day to demonstrate Hilbert’s Franciscan spirit through charity. We strive to exceed our inaugural campaign in 2017, which received 316 donations and raised over $52,000 for student scholarships.
Hilbert Giving Day is a 24-hour, online and telephone giving campaign that inspires the Hilbert community to come together, show pride in their alma mater, and provide essential funding to support students and shape the college. Through this collaborative and inclusive event, the college hopes to shine a light on giving at Hilbert and create a new sense of energy around philanthropy because together we can make the Hilbert experience possible for more students.
Each and every donor will help us reach our goal of 325 donors in one day. What makes this day more impactful is that there are incentive gifts that will unlock as certain donor goals are reached throughout the day.
One-hundred percent of all gifts will go directly to student scholarships.

With nearly 900 students, Hilbert is a dynamic Western New York college that offers career-focused majors, including one of the top criminal justice programs in the region, and more than 50 minors and concentrations. The Hilbert Blueprint promotes a well-rounded student experience over four years – starting with the Foundations Seminar in the freshman year, followed by Sophomore Service, Junior Symposium, and culminating with the Senior Capstone. Hilbert has expanded its academic offerings with the college’s first graduate programs and evening degree programs geared to adult learners.
