HAMBURG, N.Y. – Hilbert College Board of Trustees Chairperson, Fr. Michael Sajda, OFM Conv., President of St. Francis High School, announced that the search for Hilbert’s fourth president has recommenced. The Search Committee will continue to be chaired by Jill Meyer, Secretary of the Board.
The search originally launched in October 2017 and the Board made the determination in January 2018 to suspend the search to see the impact on enrollment of a full cycle of the Excelsior and ETA initiatives. After very positive enrollment data, including Hilbert reaching its new student deposit goal by May 1, the Board is happy to resume the search and anticipates off-campus interviews being scheduled early in the fall, followed by on-campus interviews, and a formal appointment at the December Board meeting.
Hilbert’s national search will be performed under the guidance of Dr. Katherine Haley of Haley Associates. More information and the full search profile is available at www.hilbert.edu/about/presidential-search.
