HAMBURG, N.Y. – 229 donors came together to raise $51,930 on Hilbert College’s third annual Giving Day on April 10. Alumni, students, family members, faculty, staff, and friends of Hilbert supported the Hilbert Fund, academic divisions, and athletic teams to help current and future students in immeasurable ways. Milestone challenges and incentive matching gifts were unlocked throughout the day.
“I am so grateful for the tremendous outpouring of support for Hilbert Giving Day,” Hilbert President Michael S. Brophy, Ph.D. said. “The Hilbert community was truly inspired and came together to make a Hilbert education possible for more students. I want to thank all members of the Hilbert family for supporting Giving Day, and also those who generously funded the many successful incentive gifts throughout the day.”
A special thank you to the following individuals and organizations for funding our incentive challenges and matching gifts on Giving Day: trustee and alumna Laurie Boreanaz Carra, Barbara Castiglia, the Frank L. Ciminelli Foundation, professor Mary Ann Hobar, Lumsden & McCormick, and former trustee and alumnus Michael Sendor.
