HAMBURG, N.Y. – Hilbert College announced today that they will begin offering a Master of Science in Criminal Justice Administration entirely online. Hilbert also offers a hybrid version of the MS in Criminal Justice Administration, in addition to a Master of Public Administration and a Health Administration track. The hybrid programs feature Saturday-only classes. Hilbert is currently accepting applications for classes beginning in January 2020. More information on Hilbert’s graduate programs is available at www.hilbert.edu/masters.
The online program is designed for those who want to advance their career within the field of criminal justice, but can’t take traditional on-campus classes due to their work schedules.
Hilbert College has been a leader in criminal justice education for over 45 years and a master’s education at Hilbert will prepare students to become leaders in the criminal justice community. This program is designed to enhance critical thinking and problem solving skills in the areas of administration, management, budget & finance, research, decision-making, ethics, diversity, and organizational change.
Hilbert’s new online program will also give students the opportunity to expand their knowledge base and practical understanding in all areas of law enforcement, courts, correctional, probation, and emergency management and education.
The same expert faculty who teach in the traditional on-campus program also teach many of Hilbert’s online criminal justice master’s courses. These faculty members lend their expertise to a broad range of government and nongovernmental agencies. Their professional experience enriches their courses and prepares graduates for workplace success.
All of Hilbert's master’s programs are extremely convenient and flexible, and the school has plans to bring all of their graduate degree offerings entirely online as soon as August 2020.
