HAMBURG, N.Y. – After a national search, Randyll P. Bowen, Ed.D. has been appointed vice president for enrollment management at Hilbert College, President Michael S. Brophy, Ph.D. announced today. Bowen will be a member of the college’s senior leadership team and will oversee the Office of Admissions and the Office of Student Finance. Bowen will begin his new role in January 2020.
“I am confident that Randy will bring an advanced, innovative, and effective strategy to Hilbert’s enrollment management efforts,” Dr. Brophy said. “We are excited to have a leader with Randy’s experience and skill set in this important role.”
Most recently, Bowen served as the vice president for student life and enrollment management at D’Youville College. As a member of D’Youville’s senior team, he provided leadership in the areas of athletics, health services, career services, counseling, residential life, student activities, student leadership, marketing and communications, undergraduate admissions, graduate admissions, international recruitment, financial aid, veteran’s affairs, web services, retention services, and Title IX. He previously served as associate vice president for enrollment management at D’Youville.
Prior to D’Youville, Bowen was the associate vice president for enrollment management at Monroe Community College in Rochester for three years and held the same position at Villa Maria College in Buffalo from 2012-2013. He served at Niagara County Community College as vice president for workforce and community development, interim director of the NCCC Foundation and interim VP for information technology services and chief information officer.
He was also associate vice president of enrollment management and marketing at Erie Community College for five years.
Bowen earned his Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University. He graduated from the State University College at Brockport with a bachelor’s degree in communications and received a master’s degree in student personnel administration from the State University College at Buffalo.
