Amanda Logue
Head Women's Volleyball Coach
(716) 926-8802
2011 begins Amanda Logue's third year leading the Hawks program after spending several years coaching at the club and high school levels. In a relatively short time Amanda has built a very impressive coaching resume.
From 2006 - 2009, Logue coached volleyball at Mount St. Mary’s Catholic High School in Kenmore, NY. She became the varsity head coach after only one year at the school and upon her elevation, her teams began to show improvements. At the completion of the 2008 volleyball season, the ‘Thunder’ finished the season ranked fourth in the Buffalo News small school division, and they represented Monsignor Martin Athletic Association (MMAA) in the state qualifiers for the catholic school division play-offs. This was very special to Mount St. Mary’s volleyball program since it was the first time in 12 years they advanced to the state qualifier.
During the same years, Logue also coached Niagara Frontier Volleyball Club’s 16’s team to a very respectable record of 55 – 14, winning several championships along the way.
Logue’s enthusiasm is evident: “I am truly excited to coach and develop this team and the Hilbert volleyball program for years to come. I have already talked to all incoming and returning players, and I get the sense they are eager to do things they have never done before - to get results they have never gotten before. I want to be the leader to take them in that direction.”
Logue’s volleyball experience began as a player in the Cheetah Club Volleyball program back in 1998. She continued to play volleyball throughout her high school years (Kenmore West Senior High School, Buffalo, NY) and into college (Medaille College, Buffalo, NY). Logue served as team captain and earned several individual awards during her four seasons at Medaille. Her name can still be found in several categories in the career statistical leaders’ record book for Medaille volleyball. She had 78 service aces, had 429 kills, and 1,691 total attempts while competing in 312 games.
Logue earned a bachelor of arts degree in psychology in 2006 and is currently working on her masters in mental health counseling also at Medaille College. She currently resides in Kenmore, NY.
