Franciscan Hall

The center of action in Franciscan Hall, often known as Fran Hall, is our Student Union and Welcome Center.  The student government association, service learning, HAWK Radio, and the office of admissions are all located on the first floor along with other student life offices like the Center for Student Involvement and Leadership.

Additionally, you can unwind in the Student Lounge or play video games in the Hawkade e-gaming room. Our President's Office, Financial Aid, Student Records, Mission Integration, and Campus Ministry are all located on the second level.

Campus Housing

Living on campus can provide you one of the most holistic college experiences. Hilbert College prides itself on providing one of the best residential experiences (10th Best Residence Halls in NYS by Niche in 2024) along with inclusive dining programs. Our living-learning communities provide you a safe living experience enriched in activities and opportunities to gain/enhance relationships and develop independence.

Learn About Our Residence Halls

Trinity Hall

Housing mainly incoming freshmen, Trinity Hall is a three-story building with rooms opening off a main corridor.  The building offers two styles of rooms: suites, which feature three 2-person bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a small living room; or double rooms in which two 2-person bedrooms share one bathroom.  Students are responsible for cleaning their own room and bathroom.

St. Joseph's Hall

St. Joseph's Hall is a two-story building that can accommodate up to 96 students. These rooms are double rooms which normally accommodate two students each. Every room connects to a bathroom with an additional room on the other side. All adjoining rooms are of the same identified gender. St. Joseph's Hall currently hosts upperclassmen and transfers

The Apartments

Hilbert College’s apartments are state-of-the-art, two-story buildings with a capacity of seventeen students in each of the four buildings. Each building contains four single-gender apartments that can house four or five students in single bedrooms.  Each apartment also contains two bathrooms, a living room, kitchen, air conditioning, and ample storage.  Each building also contains laundry facilities.

Campus Center

The Campus Center is located directly at the heart of campus and is home our newly renovated Dining Hall, Campus Safety, Bookstore, and great hang out spots.

Dining Hall

The Dining Hall is on the upper level of the Campus Center. Hilbert's Dining Services have developed a meal program to meet your individual needs.

You’ve got plenty on your mind: classes, sports, clubs, and community service, so it’s our goal to provide you with delicious, healthy, and convenient meals to fuel your success.

Dining on campus provides the social experience essential to campus life. It gives you the opportunity to gather with friends, take study breaks, hang out, and relax after a hard day of classes and activities. The comfort, convenience, outstanding food and inviting atmosphere are designed especially for you.

Drop-down batting cages allow our baseball and softball teams a year-round training option. Club sports, events, and activities also utilize this space.

Weight Room

The Honors Lounge is also on the same floor and is only accessible to Honors Program students. Our Honors Program offers top Hilbert students an intellectual learning experience in a challenging environment that fosters excellence.

Swan Auditorium & 78 West

Swan Auditorium is used for several special events held by both our on and off-campus community members, including conferences, guest speakers, unique performances, specialized training sessions by Hilbert's Institute for Law and Justice, and other activities. Swan is the largest on-campus auditorium in the southtowns, holding a capacity of nearly 460 people.

78 West is located just off the Swan Auditorium, offering places for students to kick back, relax, and study while enjoying a small meal and a cup of coffee.

Bogel Hall

As you walk the halls in Bogel, you'll notice the popular cybersecurity, forensics, and modernized chemistry and biology labs, in addition to classrooms and faculty offices. All classrooms on campus are equipped with the latest in classroom technology, including 4K Ultra HD touch screen monitors, laser projectors, wireless speakers, and SmartBoards, making it easy to switch to an online learning environment without interruption, should the need ever arise again.

McGrath Library

Librarians are available to answer questions about the Library's services and resources, as well as to assist in the discovery of research materials such as articles, books, and other general information. We have a wide range of mediums designed to propel your research to the next level, including style guides, citation help, databases, catalog, research guides, ebooks, and tutorials.

Accessibility Services is committed to working with students, faculty, and staff to ensure that everyone has equal access.  Through educational programming, services, resources, and facilities available to all members of the campus community, the office actively promotes the ongoing development of an accessible environment that embraces diversity.

Outdoor Spaces & Conclusion

Our Hilbert campus has more than 60 acres and plenty of space for activities all over campus. For optimal use, our new student amenities, such as the fire pit, volleyball court, and outdoor grill, are located closer to student housing.
