Camp Registration Documentation & Payment

Hilbert College requires additional medical forms on file to ensure the safety of your camper.  These forms can be uploaded or mailed, faxed at (716) 649-6429, dropped off, or emailed to the specific coach prior to the first day of camp. At this time, we are not requiring our campers to have received the COVID-19 vaccine.

We offer two camps for students to get their full fix of Digital Media: Film Camp and Journalism Camp. At film camp, work with other campers to write, direct, and shoot your very own short film. View your own debut on the big screen!  Our Journalism camp helps students dive into the field of interviews, creating photographs and videos, and meeting reporters from newspapers and TV. Interested in both? No problem - both our camps operate on separate weeks, helping students gain as much tutelage as possible with our expert faculty.

Medications

If your child requires non-prescription or prescribed medicine during the week of camp, expect to complete an additional signature page by following these simple rules:

1. All medication should be given to our athletic trainer at check-in by the camper’s parent/guardian.
2. All medication is to be in its original container with the camper’s name, the name of the medication, dosage, and the frequency of administration clearly marked.
3. A note from the doctor must accompany the medication, stating the name of the camper, the name of the medication, the time it is to be given, and the reason the camper is taking the medication.

Overnight Basketball Campers

Resident overnight campers will reside in the college's air-conditioned dorm, Trinity Hall, with a maximum of two campers per room. We recommend the campers bring the following items with them: 

• 8 pairs of socks
• 7 T-shirts
• 1 hoodie and a pair of sweats
• 1 pair of pajamas
• 4 pairs of shorts
• 1 pair of good basketball sneakers
• 1 lanyard for key
• Bath towels and washcloths
• 1 pillow, 1 pillow case, and two sheets
• 1 blanket or a sleeping bag
•  Personal hygiene, shower materials
•  Hand soap for the bathroom

We assist each camper in developing sound basketball fundaments and gaining a better understanding of the game’s rules and tactics.  An emphasis on teamwork, sportsmanship, and coachability is at the forefront of each week.  Our camp staff consists of experienced high school and college coaches, as well as collegiate players from the surrounding area.  Resident campers are housed in air-conditioned Trinity Hall.  The camp also makes use of air-conditioned space in Bogel Hall for film study and all meals are served in the Campus Dining Hall.

The Hilbert College Boys Summer Basketball Camp will follow all NYS and Erie County Health Department safety regulations.

• Session 1 campers will play three competitive games each day. 
• Session 2 campers will compete in games twice daily.
• Every camper will play at least half of every game.

Softball

Both camps will focus on the development of individual skills and will be run by the Hawks softball head coach and staff. Both camps will be held at the Hilbert softball diamond. Free t-shirt and lunch will be included in tuition.

Soccer

Campers will improve their skills by maximizing their touches on the ball and playing games every day while learning in a fun environment.

Lacrosse: Boys and Girls

In the event of inclement weather, we will find an indoor space to move to. If the weather is persistently severe, we may need to reschedule a day(s).

Volleyball

Enjoy playing volleyball with other campers in our clinics while improving your skillset on the court! Hilbert's volleyball clinics have offensive and defensive days to home in on your skills.

QB Club
10-week skill development program enhancing and improving the quarterback foundation (throwing technique, ball handling, footwork) for next-level success.

O-Line Club 
10-week offensive lineman runs and pass technique training program, designed to teach and develop offensive linemen for next-level success. 

Defensive Technique Club
10-week defensive technique training program for defensive backs, linebackers, and defensive linemen enhancing player performance for next-level success. 

Hilbert Football Camp
Hilbert Football Camp is a 4-hour football experience to remember. Players will be taught the basic foundational building blocks of technique at every position and drill with collegiate coaches to enhance performance. Players will have a chance to compete in skill development games as well as hear from our guest speaker.

Girls Ice Hockey

The ice hockey camps are held off campus at the Northtown Center at Amherst, on Mondays and Wednesdays, which is located at:

These camps help with the development of tactical performance, goalie skills, and individual skills:

Baseball day camp for youth. Baseball instruction from collegiate players and coaches will be provided at the camp. There will be games, competitions, and instruction in all areas of baseball, including hitting, pitching, fielding, and base running.

Join us for an unforgettable football experience where students will be taught the fundamental building blocks of technique at each position and will practice with collegiate coaches to improve performance.

Players will need court shoes, grass shoes, a water bottle, a football, and a helmet.

The Hilbert College women's lacrosse coaching staff will focus on assisting potential student-athletes with lacrosse IQ, athleticism, stick skills (in tight in the CSA vs. midfield vs. defensive 30), shooting angles and precision, ground balls, communication, and footwork in various parts of the 30s.

Campers will need to bring their own sticks, mouth guard, goggles, and cleats/turfs. Goalies need to bring their own sticks, helmets with legal throat guard protection, 2024 legal chest protector with heart protection, and leg protection (if dictated necessary by NFHS rules), and a mouth guard.

These camps are meant for players that have passion for the game and are looking to further hone their own skills.

Boys Lacrosse

This camp will emphasize skill development through drills that include competition. This is intended for more experienced players. Players who are new to the game may want to look into other options.

ALL equipment is required to participate: a helmet, gloves, shoulder pads (non-goalies), a mouth guard, stick, arm guards (non-goalies), a chest protector (goalies), a throat guard (goalies), and both cleats and sneakers.

 At Hilbert College's girls soccer camp, you will improve your individual and team skills, compete in daily contests, and compete in team games for a camp championship—all while receiving guidance from expert coaches and college soccer players!!

Campers are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Spots will fill up quickly, so register as soon as possible!

Boys Volleyball

The schedule of boys volleyball includes offensive/front row skills (hitting, shot selection, hitting IQ, and blocking) on Tuesdays and defensive/back row skills (defense, serving receive, serving, digging) on Thursdays. These are individual clinics- sign up for one or multiple days.

The schedule of girls volleyball includes offensive/front row skills (hitting, shot selection, hitting IQ, and blocking) on Mondays and defensive/back row skills (defense, serving receive, serving, digging) on Wednesdays. These are individual clinics- sign up for one or multiple days.

Our camps ensure a fun and exciting experience while developing basketball skills. Campers will receive excellent instruction from Hilbert College coaches and players and will have the opportunity to practice these skills in a competitive setting. Each participant will also participate in a variety of enjoyable and challenging drills, contests, and games.  The Hilbert College Girls' Basketball Camp staff consists of local collegiate players as well as college and high school coaches.  Our resident campers will live in Trinity Hall, an air-conditioned dorm.  The camp also makes use of air-conditioned space in Bogel Hall for film sessions and meals in the campus center dining hall.
