Your health and well-being are important at Hilbert. We want to ensure that early evaluation and treatment for an injury or illness are readily available to safeguard your health and to promote a healthy campus community.
Our mission here at the wellness center is to provide quality, confidential primary care services in a caring outpatient clinic setting. Proper diagnosis and treatment of illnesses as well as triaging and referring to appropriate services. We believe in providing preventative health services and health education to promote the student's overall health and wellness.
Hilbert's Wellness Center is located on the first floor of St. Joseph Hall, room 123, in the back lobby. The Wellness Center is open 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (11 a.m. to 4 p.m. during shortened work weeks) Monday through Friday during the academic year.
In addition to the Wellness Center, the area near Hilbert's campus offers several excellent medical facilities, including four emergent care centers within minutes of the campus and a hospital only a short drive away. A list of area health services facilities easily accessible to Hilbert students is available online.
If you sustain a sports injury that requires medical treatment, you must report it to the Office of Student Life within two days following the injury. You must file the accident report in person. Any injury not reported becomes your financial responsibility.
