HAMBURG, NY: The Hilbert women’s basketball team bounced back from the Wednesday night conference loss when they hosted Penn State Altoona on January 30. The Lions came in with a 10-4 AMCC record (4th place) yet the win-less Hawks didn’t back down. Altoona finished with the victory (80-47) but Hilbert’s offensive rebounding and extra effort for loose balls transitioned into more team points on Saturday, which, in itself, is a moral victory for the team.
