HAMBURG, NY: The Hilbert women’s basketball team played inspired basketball during their last home game of the 09-10 season against Mt. Aloysius College. The Hawks put a total team effort on and off the court, but the Mounties from Cresson, PA were too much for the home team and took the game 79-45. Sophomore Julie Bossard (Arkport, NY/Canisteo-Greenwood) lead Hilbert with 17 points and 11 rebounds for her second double double of the season. Mt. Aloysius got 20 points from Emily McKenna (18 at half time). Sophomore Mary Zinni (Batavia, NY/Batavia) hit for 15 points (3-5 from long range) for the Hawks.
