New England Stops Hilbert

The Hilbert College baseball team fell 14-7 to New England College on Monday evening (March 16, 2009) at the Coco Expo Baseball Tournament in Cocoa Beach, Florida. The loss drops the Hawk's record to 1-2 on the season.
Sophomore Frank Simmeth (Cheektowaga, NY/St. Mary's) went 3-4 on the evening. Freshman Matthew Militello (Depew, NY/Lancaster) was 2-3 from the plate, and scored two runs.
