HAMBURG, NY – Dallas Reinard (Smethport, PA/Smethport) poured in 30 points to lead all scorers as the Hilbert College men’s basketball team upended Mohawk College of Canada 96-82.
The Hawks offense dished out 24 assists Saturday in their final preseason test before next Friday’s season opener at Keystone College. Four different Hawks reached double figures and Hilbert owned a 47-37 rebounding advantage.
The visiting Mountaineers (8-3) were led by Marko Gacic’s 14 points and seven rebounds. Mohawk will travel to Rochester Institute of Technology Sunday for their final exhibition game before returning home.
