Men'sSoccer Knocks off SUNYIT

HAMBURG, N.Y. – The Hilbert College men’s soccer team erupted for six goals Friday afternoon en route to a 6-1 win over SUNY Institute of Technology. The win improves the Hawks record to 3-12 on the year.

Dan Russell (Iroquois/Marilla, NY) and Tim Jordan (Frontier/Jacksonville, SC) scored two goals apiece to lead the offensive charge. Brian Dohl (Falconer/Falconer, NY) added a goal and a pair of assists while teammate Jacob Opala (West Seneca West/West Seneca, NY) contributed a goal and three assists on the day.

Hilbert keeper Marc Gaylor (Hinsdale/Hinsdale, NY) recorded two saves on the day.
