UTICA, N.Y. – The Hilbert College men’s soccer team lost to the SUNYIT Wildcats 6-0 Friday in NCAA Division III action. The loss drops the Hawks to 0-3 on the young season.


The host Wildcats held a 3-0 lead after the first 45 minutes and added three insurance goals during the last 15 minutes of play to secure the win. Hilbert goal keeper, Patrick Kane (West Seneca, NY/West Seneca West) recorded seven saves in a losing effort.


The Hawks return to action on Sept. 16 when they travel to local rival Medaille College for a 4 p.m. game.
