Mavericks Too Much For Hawks

The Hilbert College men’s volleyball team fell to No. 13 Medaille College 3-0 (25-30, 22-30, 26-30) on Thursday evening (February 6, 2009). The loss drops the Hawks to 3-5 overall and 2-2 in the NECVA West.
Sophomore Dan Wolfe (Rochester, NY/Irondequoit) led the Hawks with nine kills. Senior Robert Gerhard (Angola, NY/Lake Shore) recorded eight kills and four digs for Hilbert. Freshman Vince Amico (Buffalo, NY/Timon) distributed 19 assists for the Hawks.
The Hawks return to action Tuesday February 10, at 7:00 pm to host D’Youville College in a NECVA West showdown.
