Buffalo, NY – The Hilbert College women’s volleyball team came up short on the road Thursday night losing to D’Youville College 28-30, 20-30, 30-26, and 15-30. The loss sets the Hawks back to 1-10 on the season and 0-4 in the North Eastern Athletic Conference.
Lynn Workman (Newfane/Newfane, NY) led the Hawks with eight kills and 15 digs. Teammate Lisa Piccone (Westfield, Westfield, NY) contributed six aces and eight digs in a losing effort.
The Lady Hawks will be looking to redeem an earlier season loss when they travel to NEAC rival Medaille College on October 7th for an important conference rematch.
