DeVantier Shines On Record-Setting Day In Win Over Medaille

HAMBURG, N.Y. – The Hilbert College women’s soccer team defeated visiting Medaille College 2-1 on Wednesday afternoon in an important North Eastern Athletic Conference matchup.

Nicole DeVantier (Niagara Catholic/Lewiston, NY) became the all-time leader in games played at Hilbert with 63. DeVantier scored the game-winning goal and added an assist to lead the Lady Hawks offense. Michelle Greco (Southwestern/Jamestown, NY) scored the other Hilbert goal.

Wendy Brusso (Marion/Marion, NY) stopped four shots for the Lady Hawks, who now have a two-game winning streak.

The win improves Hilbert to 5-7 (3-1 in NEAC play) heading into their last regular season home game this Sunday at noon against SUNYIT.
