Bradford, PA – Hilbert College’s women’s volleyball team traveled to the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford to participate in a tri-match between Waynesburg University (PA) and the host Bradford. The Hawks gave away too many points in both matches in service errors and serve receiving errors, surrendering at least 20 points (of the opponents 75 total points scored) through their own errors. In game one, Waynesburg took the 3-set match with scores of 25-16, 25-22, 25-7. Sophomores Rachel Kwiakowski (West Seneca, NY/Orchard Park) and Devan Jonathon (Basom, NY/Akron) both hit the ball well (.50 on 4 kills) but had few touches (6 attacks each). Senior Carole Jones (Bliss, NY/Letchworth) and freshman Chelsea Reischuck (East Aurora, NY/East Aurora) each had 5 kills.
