The purpose of this club is to allow students and faculty to exchange ideas, plan projects, providing humanitarian services, encourage highly ethical standards in all vocations, and to advance goodwill and peace all around the world. Rotaract has a strong focus on taking part in international service projects in a global effect to bring peace and international understanding to the world.

Sport Management Athletic Club (SMAC)

“Where aspiring sport industry leaders grow one conversation at a time.”

Aspiring sports industry leaders and Sports Industry Management (SIM) majors can bridge the gap between theory and practice through the Sports Management Association Club (SMAC). SMAC offers a well-rounded experience, combining industry talks with guest speakers, discussions on current sports topics, and exciting sporting events like Super Bowl weekend trips, Cleveland sports adventures, and local Buffalo Bills games. These events go beyond entertainment; they provide opportunities to witness the sports industry in action, learn from experienced professionals, build professional networks, and cultivate a deep understanding and appreciation for the dynamic world of sports.

The purpose of this club is to offer a voice to student athletes on campus which allows them to delegate their beliefs to better the school. The student athletes provide their insight based on their experiences in athletics.

Start a New Club

  1. Review SGA Constitution, Article X.
  2. Ask an eligible full-time staff or faculty member to be the advisor for your new club.
  3. A charter must be drawn up and submitted to the SGA for approval. Charter Forms can be found on blackboard or outside of the Student Government Office in Franciscan Hall, Center for Student Involvement and Leadership.  Keep in mind that only clubs or organizations officially recognized on campus are eligible to receive SGA funding.
