CAMPUS MINISTRY

Serving Persons of All Faiths in the Franciscan Tradition

Students with St. FrancisHilbert Campus Ministry serves the religious and spiritual needs of the students, faculty and staff by offering worship, fellowship, outreach, and educational opportunities. Campus ministry also seeks to help students integrate their faith and learning, thereby fostering Franciscan values as well as the development of individuals into leaders in their local, global, and faith communities.

The Offices of Campus Ministry is located in Bogel Hall. Students and staff are welcome to stop by for either an informal visit or a scheduled appointment. Whether you are of a different faith, or no faith, all are welcome!

About Campus Ministry

St. Clare ChapelHilbert Campus Ministry offers students a variety of opportunities for building relationships, faith development and enrichment, pastoral and spiritual counseling, on-and-off campus programs, discussions, community outreach, faith sharing, and worship.

Cultural and religious diversity are valued and celebrated with interfaith and ecumenical events and services. Opportunities are also available for students and staff to recharge and regroup during a one day or weekend retreat consisting of sharing, reflection, relaxation, and fun. St Francis of Assisi drawing

In the Franciscan spirit and tradition, campus ministry seeks to nurture an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality within the campus community. We invite you to discover and celebrate your unique gifts and talents. As you journey to find God's plan for yourself, we encourage you to discern how best to serve our world.

Mission

Campus ministry exists to serve the religious and spiritual needs of the people of Hilbert College. In addition to forming a faith community on campus, opportunities are available for community service, participating in campus-wide functions, and socializing.

In the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi, the founder of the Franciscans, we provide a person-centered ministry to people of all religious faiths.

In harmony with all creation, we embody a regard and reverence for each individual.
