Jill Cole Splawski, Director of Residence Life and Judicial Affairs
In July of 2016, Jill Cole-Splawski joined the Hilbert College community as the Director of Residence Life and Judicial Affairs. Splawski currently oversees housing operations, judicial affairs and supervision of all residence life staff members. Prior to coming to Hilbert, Splawski has served in various roles in the Office of Residence Life at Daemen College, including the Resident Coordinator, Assistant Director, Interim Director and Associate Director for Residential Education. Splawski was also a consultant for Campus Labs, where she maintained a portfolio of 50 small colleges and universities providing education, training, and support on student affairs assessment, student engagement and the implementation of campus climate surveys.
Splawski is a Buffalo Bill's season ticket holder with her husband Phil and has a cat named Billy. They reside in Cheektowaga, NY.
Splawski holds a Bachelors in Business Economics, concentrated in Environmental Management with a minor in Geology from SUNY Cortland and her masters in Higher Education Administration and Adult Learning from Post University.

Brett Kane, Area Coordinator for Residence Life
Brett is excited to continue his journey at Hilbert College as the Area Coordinator for Residence Life as of August of 2018. Kane returns to the department as a professional staff member after three years of being a Resident Assistant, with being awarded Staff Member of the Year in 2017 and 2018. Beyond his involvement in Residence Life, Kane served as an executive board member on both Franciscan Spirit Club and Young Life. Kane will primarily be responsible for the operations within upper class housing of St. Joseph Hall and the campus apartments along with late night, on campus programming.
Kane enjoys going on outdoor adventures and excursions with his girlfriend Courtney, and he is always up to watching a new movie.
Kane received his Bachelors of Science, Cum Laude, in Criminal Justice in May of 2018. He received numerous awards including being selected as one of ten students for membership in the Blue and White Society and 2018's John W. Kissel Man of the Year. Kane will graduate with his Masters in Criminal Justice Administration from Hilbert College in May 2020.
