Alex Gill
Director of Student Involvement
Gill joined the Campus Involvement Professional Staff in December of 2019. As an undergraduate student at Hilbert College, Gill had experience in Residence Life as a Resident Assistant (2019) and Residential Safety Associate (2016-2018). He was also deeply involved in the Club Hockey Team and led strong programmatic efforts including the first Hyperglow at Hilbert along with Hilbert raids Area 51.
Professionally, Gill served as the Resident Coordinator from December of 2019- May of 2021. In this role, Gill was responsible for the day to day operations of St. Joseph’s Hall and the Campus Apartments. In addition, he oversaw large scale programs on campus, the department’s office assistants, and served as the direct supervisor to the residential mail room.
As the Coordinator for Student Involvement, Gill was the go-to professional for clubs, organizations and campus programming. He also advised to CAB (campus activities board) and is the leadership behind traditions like Welcome Week, Fall Fest and BERT Fest. While supporting the engagment side of student life, Gill also serves in the on-call rotation for crisis management. In January of 2022, Gill was promoted to Interim Director of Student Involvement and took a stronger leadership role in campus events. In June of 2022, Gill was promoted to Director of Student Involvement.
Gill enjoys playing hockey, concerts, the Buffalo Bills and Sabres. Gill received his Bachelors of Science, in Criminal Justice in May of 2019 and Masters in Criminal Justice Administration from Hilbert College in May 2021.
