A study abroad experience is more than just travel; it’s an opportunity to grow academically, personally, and culturally while preparing to thrive in a global society. By living and learning in another country, students gain new perspectives, build confidence, and develop skills that last well beyond their time abroad.
Through Hilbert’s outbound study abroad programs, students can participate in structured, supported international experiences that align with their academic goals. With options ranging from short-term summer programs to full semester opportunities, studying abroad is more accessible than ever—allowing students to explore the world while staying on track for graduation.
Students planning to study abroad will participate in required information sessions covering the application process, program costs, and preparation for departure and return. Throughout the process, students work closely with the Study Abroad Office and receive personalized support to ensure they feel confident and fully prepared for their experience abroad.
Courses completed abroad are approved in advance and transfer back to Hilbert College, allowing students to stay on track for graduation while gaining valuable global experience.
