Criminal Justice Administration, MS  

Build upon your expertise in the criminal justice field with the Criminal Justice Administration MS degree. Grow in understanding of criminal justice policy, management, finance, budgeting and research, ethics and organizational development, as well as advanced problem-solving skills.

Public Administration, MPA 

Our Public Administration MPA degree refines students with leadership potential and aptitude for sharp analytic skills, budgetary perception, and excellent human relations ability.

Public Administration: Health Administration, MPA 

Our Master of Public Administration: Health Administration degree prepares students with skills in public service and health care management positions, integrating core courses of Hilbert’s MPA with a special focus on health administration and services.


Application Requirements

Hilbert College offers rolling admissions allowing students to apply at any time and start the next term. We do encourage all students to submit applications as soon as possible to ensure they do not miss any important communications leading up to enrollment.

 Graduate enrollment is currently on a pause as we update our programming. Please reach out to graduatestudies@hilbert.edu with any questions about the next start date!

The Application Process

  • Complete Hilbert College’s Free Online Graduate Application on our website. For questions or issues with the website or application, call the graduate office at 716-926-8783.
  • Submit requests to your past institutions to send us official copies of your transcripts
  • Submit an updated resume
  • Submit a Statement of Purpose
  • There is no GRE or MAT requirement, but you may submit your scores if you completed them for extra consideration
  • While we do not have a GPA requirement, we encourage students who have a GPA lower than 3.0 to submit two academic letters of recommendation

Statement of Purpose

  • Two pages minimum
  • Detail the reason you are applying to Hilbert College
  • Include personal and professional experiences
  • Discuss your goals and how the Hilbert College program fits into those plans
  • Describe any other important information about yourself that would contribute to your personal character

All application materials should be forwarded to the Center for Graduate and Online Studies Office via mail or email graduatestudies@hilbert.edu

Do you have previous graduate credits? You may be eligible to transfer up to six graduate credit hours with grades of B or better into a Hilbert program at the discretion of program Chair. Credits must be from an accredited institution in graduate courses appropriate to the program being pursued.
