Pre-College Programs Hero Graphic

Pre-College Programs are designed for high school students to have the opportunity to take classes at Hilbert College and experience college life while still in high school. As a student, you will get an introduction to college courses that will allow you to learn new subject areas of interest. We are proud to offer high school students courses that draw on the strengths of Hilbert College’s Franciscan mission and values.

We offer dual enrollment for students.

Dual Enrollment

Available for: High School Students enrolled in a select Private or Public School
Courses offered: In-Person at select High School
Cost: $75 per credit hour; $35 registration fee for each course

Dual Enrollment refers to students who earn academic credits at two institutions -- their high school and a college or university that participates in dual enrollment programs. The Dual Enrollment Program is a partnership program between Hilbert College and area school districts that provides the opportunity for high school students to enroll in Hilbert College courses offered at their high school. It is a convenient and flexible option for students. Courses are taught by high school teachers approved by Hilbert College. These courses will have the same requirements as those offered on-campus at Hilbert College and receive the same college credit.

Mission & Vision

In accordance with the mission and vision of Hilbert College and the Franciscan value of service, the our Pre-College Programs serve high school students who may not otherwise have many opportunities to prepare for college and receive credit for post-secondary work.

As part of a liberal arts institution, these courses will honor intellectual inquiry, freedom of thought, breadth of knowledge, and lifelong learning. Our Pre-College Program at Hilbert helps further our vision of reaching out to students from all backgrounds and commitment, providing them skills and resources to achieve success in a wide range of careers and post-secondary work.
