Our Dual Enrollment Program provides area high school students with the opportunity to enroll in Hilbert College courses offered right at their high school for a significantly lower cost.

Participating in this program allows students the exceptional opportunity to get a low cost jump start on their college degree with the convenience of taking these courses during their normal high school day, right on their high school campus, while also using the coursework to complete the requirements for a high school diploma. In addition, Hilbert College Dual Enrollment courses will provide students with an extra challenge and the chance to experience college coursework before their freshman year of college.

Students in these courses will earn credit towards their high school diploma in addition to Hilbert College course credit that can be used towards a Hilbert College degree or transferred to any college or university degree program (check with a particular institution regarding their transfer credit policy and requirements).  Hilbert College is a member of the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP).

Our 2025-2026 Dual Enrollment Fees are:

  • $90 per credit
  • $35 registration fee for each course

2023-2024 Registration Closed

Dual Enrollment for 2023-2024 is now closed. The 2024 invoices will be emailed to students beginning March 11, 2024.

Frequently Asked Questions

Dual Enrollment courses are Hilbert College courses that are offered at a high school location during the regular school day and are taught by a high school teacher whose background is similar to an on-campus adjunct.  The “dual” part refers to the feature that the course runs concurrently with a high school class (is embedded in the high school class format), and counts as BOTH credit toward high school graduation, as well as college credit.

View our full list of available Hilbert Dual Enrollment courses. Not every course on this list will be offered at a student’s high school since this is dependent on the high school’s ability to run particular courses.  To find out which courses are offered at a specific high school, contact the school’s guidance counselor or email us at dualenrollment@hilbert.edu.

To earn college credit for your high school Dual Enrollment course, you must officially register by completing the Dual Enrollment application found on the Hilbert College Dual Enrollment webpage during the open registration period. You’ll also need to pay the $90 per credit fee and a $35 registration fee for each course using the online payment system. Once registration is complete, your high school teacher will receive an official roster showing which students are registered to earn college credit.

Earned Dual Enrollment course credits can be used towards a Hilbert College degree or transferred to any college or university degree program, subject to that institution’s transfer credit policy.  It is the responsibility of the student to check with the institution they plan on attending regarding their transfer credit policy and degree requirements to determine if their Dual Enrollment course credits can be applied to their chosen degree program, as each institution sets its own policy regarding the acceptance of transfer credit.

To earn college credit for your Dual Enrollment course, you must finish the course with a final grade of C- or higher (some colleges may require at least a B to award credit).

  • If you attend Hilbert College: Your Dual Enrollment credits will automatically be applied toward your degree program once you enroll.
  • If you attend another college or university: You’ll need to request an official transcript from Hilbert College to have your credits transferred.
How to Request Your Transcript

You can request your Dual Enrollment transcript online by filling out the Electronic Transcript Request Form.

When completing the form:

  • Be sure to select “Dual Enrollment Student” so the $15.00 per transcript fee is waived.
  • The fee waiver is available until September 1 of the year you took your Dual Enrollment course. After that date, you’ll be responsible for paying the transcript request fee and additional processing fee.
  • Transcripts are only available after final grades have been submitted by your instructor.
