The Coordinator of Academic Advising at Hilbert College works with faculty, staff, and students to aid in the process of academic advising. The Coordinator serves as a support to faculty and as a supplemental resource for students The Coordinator is available to all students in all majors, at all levels, and can help with:

 

  • Questions regarding major changes
  • Supplemental course and schedule planning
  • Academic success strategies
  • General questions regarding advising
  • Preparing for your advising appointment with your faculty advisor
  • Connecting you with your academic advisor


 

Academic Advising

The mission of academic advisement at Hilbert College is to support students holistically throughout their educational experience by fostering the development of students who are self-directed, responsible decision makers to achieve their personal, academic, and career goals.

Students are required to meet with their assigned academic advisor each semester to select courses for the coming semester, students may only be authorized to register if they have met with their academic advisor. Advisors at Hilbert College aim to help students in all aspects of their college career at Hilbert, be it course scheduling, internships, job opportunities, networking, or connecting to various resources around campus, our academic advisors are valuable resources to our students.

Fall 2020 Academic Advisement will take place remotely. Please reach out to your advisor to discuss what options work best for you.
