Hilbert Email

For outlook users, you should just be able to shutdown Outlook and re-open the application. Outlook will now point to the new email location.

Webmail users should open any web browser and go to https://outlook.office.com then login using your Hilbert email (jdoe@hilbert.edu) and password.

If you are on an iPhone or iOS device, you must delete your current Hilbert email account and add a new one.  Here are those steps:

1. Go to settings
2. Go to Mail
3. Go to Accounts, remove current Hilbert email account (if it exists)
4. Tap "Add account"
5. Set up email through "Exchange"
6. Type in your Hilbert email address (ex. jdoe@hilbert.edu)
7. Enter your regular password for Hilbert email
8. Your email should be successfully added

If you are on an android device, you must delete your current Hilbert email account and add a new one.  Here are those steps:

1. Go to either Email or Gmail
2. Go to settings
3. Remove current Hilbert email account (if it exists)
4. Tap "Add account"
5. Set up email through "Exchange and Office 365"
6. Type in your Hilbert email address (ex. jdoe@hilbert.edu)
7. Enter your regular password for Hilbert email
8. Your email should be successfully added

Because of the issue with our mail servers, some mailbox information was corrupted and could not be migrated without the use of a recovery tool. We are actively working to recover this corrupted email and are hoping to have that work completed by next week.  Users should be able to send and receive new emails without issue.
