Doreen Prendergast
Assistant Professor
Doreen Prendergast supports our Chemistry program. She has a longstanding passion for teaching spanning her 25-year teaching career. Doreen served as a High School Chemistry teacher at Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart, Royalton-Hartland High School, and Niagara-Wheatfield High School in addition to teaching at the Huntington Learning Center and ongoingly serving as a private tutor specializing in preparing high school students for the Math and Science portions of the SATs. Doreen’s higher education experience include serving as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Buffalo, an Instructional Support Specialist and Adjunct Chemistry Professor at the University of New York’s Erie Community College and since 2021 she has been with us at Hilbert as an Adjunct Chemistry instructor. Doreen is a doctoral candidate at the University of Buffalo where she will earn the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in 2025.
