Associate Professor Laura Dannebohm received her Juris Doctor degree from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, with a concentration in Constitutional Law and Civil Rights, and a Master of Arts degree from Bowling Green State University in English, with a specialization in Professional Writing and Rhetoric.
Professor Dannebohm has over 12 years’ experience in the corrections field, working within correctional facilities, community corrections, and in central administration. In addition, Professor Dannebohm was Assistant Dean at Indiana Tech University Law School, responsible for accreditation matters and instructional design as well as teaching. Before that, she was Director of Academic Services, preparing students to pass the bar examination. Professor Dannebohm has been a licensed attorney for 11 years and has practiced in a variety of areas. She also has published works on academic and writing topics and has several articles in progress related to the criminal justice field.
