Your Hilbert ID: Your Key to Campus Access
Hilbert uses a control system at designated building entrances for easy access. Campus Safety handles both ID production and programming, making it a convenient one-stop process for all. Once you have your ID, your access level to designated areas will be granted to you based on your needs.
ID Card Replacements
Visit (Campus Center LL) or call ((716) 926-8919) Campus Safety to receive an ID card. If your ID card is lost or stolen, email our safety department to get a replacement. The fee is $15.
Obtaining Your Hilbert ID
Get a new, replacement, or updated Hilbert ID card through our streamlined process. We’re committed to providing a safe and secure learning environment for all. In the near future, additional campus buildings will be equipped with access control systems that require your Hilbert ID card for entry. This measure is designed to enhance campus safety and provide peace of mind for our students, faculty, and staff.
- If you are new to Hilbert, do not have an ID card, or do not have a Hilbert ID photo on file, you may obtain your photo in a few different ways:
- New students will be asked to attend a Student Advisement Onboarding & Retention (SOAR) event. Pictures for ID cards will be taken at these events. Once your picture is taken at a SOAR event, your ID card will be made before the semester starts and you can visit the Campus Safety table at orientation. Campus Safety will be handing out ID cards to all new students at that time.
- If you are unable to attend a SOAR event prior to Orientation, you will likely be directed to visit Campus Safety office (located in the Lower Level Campus Center) while you are on campus that day. Your photo will be taken, card printed & ID programmed at the same time. See your student advisor for more information on when you will be able to stop by Campus Safety during your day of Orientation. During Orientation, our Campus Safety office may experience higher-than-usual traffic due to the number of new students needing IDs. Please allow for a potential wait time of 10-15 minutes.
