Shuttle Transportation Service

Our Shuttle Service allows for access to a high quality and affordable education and demonstrates our commitment to the SAY YES program as well as Hilbert community members residing in the City of Buffalo.

Hilbert College strives to embrace its Catholic Franciscan heritage each day through acts of service, selflessness, and compassion for all.

The Hilbert Shuttle is FREE to all Hilbert students, faculty, and staff. The shuttle has direct routes from the City of Buffalo to Hilbert College’s Hamburg, NY campus for easy access to and from the college on weekdays. Transportation via the Hilbert Shuttle will also be available on the weekends for residential students, with routes to a wide variety of shopping and entertainment excursions including Wegmans, Quaker Crossing and the Galleria Mall.

  2. Do I need to wear a mask while on the bus?
We will require all passengers to wear their masks while on the shuttle bus.

  3. When should I arrive at the shuttle bus stop?
We recommend you arrive approximately 10 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time listed for the particular shuttle stop location. Shuttles will be leaving each location at the designated departure time. They will not leave prior to this time.

  4. How long will it take to get to campus?
The length of time will depend on where you get on the shuttle bus. Please look at the departure times and the arrival times to determine the specific amount of time it will take.

On the weekends, the shuttle transports students between Hilbert College and several local shopping locations. Please see the Weekend Shuttle Schedule (link to schedule) for detailed drop off/pick up locations.

  6. What efforts are being taken to keep the shuttle bus clean?
The shuttle bus will have wipes available for all students to use. Additionally, the shuttle bus drivers will be cleaning the high touch points throughout the day. After the second morning run, the bus will return to Niagara Scenic's garage for a cleaning. Finally, the shuttle bus will be fully sanitized each night with a hospital grade solution.
