Submit Your Enrollment Deposit

All students who plan to attend Hilbert must accept their admissions offer by submitting an enrollment deposit as soon as possible. Students who deposit early on will receive priority registration and preferred housing (resident students only)! 

Refer to your acceptance letter for information regarding deposit deadlines. An Admissions Counselor will contact you to explain any additional actions necessary. Make your secure online payment (all major credit cards accepted) to formally accept your offer of admission to Hilbert College and receive your welcome gift!

*If you experience any errors using our payment system, please contact us directly at (716) 926-8939 to make your payment.

  • Resident Students
    Students that will be living on campus are required to submit a $225 enrollment deposit through a secure connection, which is non-refundable. This deposit includes a $125 housing fee, which is required to secure a room on campus.Upon completion, students should immediately begin completing all necessary housing paperwork, which can be found in Step 3.

  • Commuter Students     
    Students that will be commuting to campus are required to submit a $100 enrollment deposit through a secure connection .

Complete the FASFA

While incoming students are automatically considered for merit scholarships based on academic credentials, all students must complete the FAFSA to qualify for need-based financial aid and receive the best financial aid offer possible.

  1. You and your parent/guardian(s) must obtain a free FSA ID and password at: https://fsaid.ed.gov.
  2. File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for complete consideration of all grants and loans. New York State residents should complete The New York State Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) at www.hesc.ny.gov.

The new FAFSA application is available on October 1st each year. It is important to file this as soon as possible.

Living on Campus

Resident Students: Complete Housing Application

Once you have submitted your $225 enrollment deposit, you should complete the following as soon as possible to in order to be eligible for housing at Hilbert College. Housing assignments will begin after May 1st and will continue until capacity is reached.

Please note: You will need a digital copy of your Health Insurance card as all residents are required to have insurance. A photo of the card is an acceptable format of insurance.

Fill out the Roommate Preference Form to provide the Office of Residence Life your ideal roommate and housing location.

If you submitted a $100 enrollment deposit as a commuter and want to live on campus, you will need to submit the additional $125 housing deposit as well. To do so, you may:

  • Call the office of admissions at 716-926-8780
  • Email the office of admissions at admissions@hilbert.edu to update your housing status and arrange a payment for your housing deposit using a credit or debit card

Register for Classes

Students that submit their enrollment deposit early will receive priority registration.

New students that have accepted their admissions offer by depositing will be contacted to schedule their registration appointment, based on the date of their deposit.

Fall Entry Term:  Deposited students will be contacted as early as March 31st to schedule their new student advisement appointment.

Spring Entry Term: Deposited students will be contacted as early as November 15th to schedule their new student advisement appointment.

Submit Final Transcripts

Have your official high school and/or college transcripts sent to the Office of Admissions, prior to the start of classes. Failure to do so may result in a hold being placed on your account.

For graduating seniors, please be sure to see your School Counselor before your final day of classes to arrange for your final transcripts to be sent. Requests can still be made after the school year ends.

Transfer students can request a final transcript to be sent by contacting the Office of the Registrar at their current institution.

This includes college courses taken while in high school. For students submitting Advanced Placement (AP) scores, please have official scores sent from the College Board.

Attend New Student Orientation Mandatory

Orientation is mandatory for all new freshmen and transfer students entering Hilbert College.

  • Spring 2023 Entry Term: New Student Orientation will take place on December 7, 2022 and January 11, 2023.

    Is Health Insurance Required?

    Health insurance is MANDATORY for student-athletes and on-campus resident students and are required to show proof of personal health insurance prior to moving into the residence halls. While Hilbert does not offer health insurance plans, students can view available plans through the Individual Marketplace as a result of the Affordable Care Act. For more information on the Marketplace options available to you, please navigate to https://nystateofhealth.ny.gov/ and click on “Get Started.”

    For questions about immunization requirements, insurance information, or any other health and wellness questions, please visit our Health and Wellness page or contact the Office of Student Life by phone at 716-926-8793 or by e-mail.

    Students will not be allowed to move in to their residence hall until they have submitted all required health forms.
  2. COVID-19 Requirements Mandatory

    Following CDC and New York State Department of Health guidelines, our requirements for COVID-19 are subject to change. You can view our updated policies on our COVID updates page. All on-campus community members are required to be vaccinated. Medical and religious exemption approvals will occur within 48 hours of submission.

CSS Profile is an online form for international students to complete. It's a simple way to let schools know about your academic and financial background. It's also a great way to get in touch with schools that might be interested in you.

All international students need to file it. Hilbert College cannot provide a fee waiver for the CSS profile.

The I-20 Application is a complete set of forms and paperwork that will help you get your I-20. It includes the I-20 application, the SEVIS fee ($350), the SEVIS fee payment form, and the SEVIS fee payment receipt. Include any supported paperwork.

Find My Embassy

Once there, you need to complete DS-160 form (Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application) and a photo that meets requirements and then schedule a visa interview at a US embassy or consulate. Find out more at the Bureau of Consular Affairs.
