While Dr. Brophy is exploring other professional opportunities that may allow his family to move closer to their extended families, he remains committed to providing a smooth leadership transition for the College.

  • Hilbert College and the University at Buffalo (UB) School of Law are pleased to announce a new 3+3 accelerated undergraduate/J.D. program, launching in Fall of 2025. The new program will afford qualifying students at Hilbert College the opportunity to earn both their undergraduate and J.D. degrees in six, rather than seven, years of full-time study, saving them both time and tuition costs.

  • In partnership with the Western New York Library Resources Council, Hilbert College’s McGrath Library (https://www.hilbert.edu/academics/library) is pleased to invite students, staff, patrons, and friends of the library to an advocacy meeting on Wednesday, November 13 with New York State Senator Patrick M. Gallivan of New York’s 60th Senate District. Library staff, patrons, volunteers, and community members from other local libraries or libraries within Senator Gallivan’s district are also invited to attend. This meeting will provide a unique opportunity for library advocates to share their library experiences with the Senator and express their support for increased library funding in the 2025 New York State Budget.

Dr. Harris begins his new role at Hilbert on August 1st. “Following a national search, we found that Todd’s inherent vision, goals and charisms align very well with our Franciscan values and our community culture at Hilbert Community. I am please and excited to welcome him to our Senior Staff and know that he will make valuable contributions as our VP for Student Life and Dean of Students” said Hilbert College Provost and Executive Vice President, Kristine Still PhD.
