Bio:
Bruce Boissonnault is founding CEO (ret.) of the Niagara Health Quality Coalition. He has served as national reviewer for the Institute of Medicine, adviser to MEDPAC, and on national standards setting bodies including the AMA PCPI, the National Quality Forum (NQF) steering committee for hospital quality measures (as co-chairman), and on the NQF nursing home steering committee on quality measures. He was invited by Congressional leaders to present technical improvements to the Affordable Care Act language prior to final passage; and his national research report entitled "Where to Find the Nation's Most Affordable Medical Care" is credited with helping launch the California Attorney General's investigation into anti-competitive mergers among hospitals in Northern California. Boissonnault's research reports have been featured routinely in hundreds of media outlets including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Associated Press, Health Affairs and Hearst Media Corporation.
