 Scholarships and Grants
Grants and scholarships, unlike loans, do not have to be paid back. At the graduate level, one must seek out funding from federal, state, professional, and private organizations. Each grant has its own criteria for application and may be awarded based on a wide range of factors including: affiliation with an organization, industry, special interest, religious or educational operation. Often times, organizations have separate and special applications for grant consideration.

 Employer Tuition Assistance
Your employer may offer a tuition assistance program that will reimburse you for part or all of your tuition expenses. Some programs have specific academic performance (grade) standards. For instance, they may reimburse 100% for an A, 80% for a B, etc.. In addition, they may have length-of-employment requirements to be eligible. Check with the human resources department at your place of employment.
