Welcome to New Student Registration & Orientation, Hawks! This crucial first step along your educational journey includes meeting with your academic advisor, registering for classes, creating a schedule that works for you. Transition materials are available for new Hawk members.

New Student Registration & Orientation is mandatory for all new students. Each student can bring up to two support persons with them.

Welcome Aboard!
Join us for New Student Orientation in Fall 2023

Mandatory for All Incoming Students

Welcome to Hilbert College! We are excited that you have chosen to become part of our Hawk family, and we’re looking forward to seeing you at New Student Orientation this summer!

New Student Orientation is required for all new students and is the all-important first step in your college success. Our comprehensive college-wide orientation program introduces students to a wide range of services, programs and opportunities available at Hilbert College.

Students will spend the one-day program engaging with faculty and staff to learn about the educational experience at Hilbert, including services like tutoring, academic support, health and wellness, career development and service learning. Students will start to create meaningful relationships with faculty in their academic program. Additionally, students will spend time with our student engagement team learning all about the Hilbert co-curricular experience.

Family members of students will also have the opportunity to become better acquainted with the services and programs offered at Hilbert, including learning about key offices - Student Life, Academic Services, Campus Safety and Counseling, Health and Wellness. A President’s Reception hosted by Hilbert College President, Dr. Michael Brophy will end the family members’ day-long program.

The full schedule for students and family members will be posted early in the summer. For more information regarding summer New Student Orientation, please reach out to your Admissions Counselor or Alex Gill, Director of Student Involvement at agill@hilbert.edu.
