In addition to his B.S. in Forensic Science, Officer Johanson received specialized training from the University of North Dakota in death scene assessment, evidence collection and investigation of various deaths.
Previous work history:
Officer Johanson has approximately 10 years of experience in policing within municipal departments, first with the City of Tonawanda and currently with the City of Jamestown, with two of his years working within the City of Jamestown Public Schools.

Bio:
Officer Johanson has been an adjunct professor for Hilbert College since 2018. He is currently employed as a police officer for the City of Jamestown Police Department where he also serves as a basic police instructor and field training officer. His value to his departments is evident through a Commendation for service award in 2017 and a Stop DWI award recipient three years in a row (2014-2016).
