Best Self Partnership

Hilbert and Best Self created a partnership offering courses and degree programs to Best Self employees. This partnership allows students to complete courses that will aid in applying for the CASAC certificate. Students can also earn an AA degree in Alcohol & Substance Abuse Counseling.

Applying

Best Self employees are encouraged to speak with your Manager and the HR office to discuss career pathways and certificate requirements. The NYS Office of Addiction Services and Support website offers information regarding requirements to receive certifications in the credentialing of substance use counselors and prevention practitioners.

Pathways

• Apply for the associate degree in Alcohol & Substance Abuse Counseling Program
• Completion of the associate's degree fulfills 1,000 hours towards the CASAC certificate 
  
  
• Enroll as a non-degree seeking student in required courses that will aid in applying for the CASAC certificate

Enrollment Format

Through Hilbert College Global:

• Courses are offered fully online with asynchronous teaching.

• Even in our online program, you will know who your faculty are. At Hilbert, we pride ourselves on our individualized service. Faculty office hours and zoom calls are available for our online students.
