First-Year Transfer Scholarship Recipients is Largest Group Ever at Hilbert

HAMBURG, N.Y. – Transfer Scholarships have been awarded this fall to more than 60 first-year Hilbert College students, making it largest group ever of new recipients.
Each student has received a $2,500 scholarship for the 2003-04 academic year. The scholarship is awarded to a limited number of students who have completed an associate’s degree at one of the 25 two-year colleges which participate in an articulation agreement with Hilbert. The awards are $1,250 per semester for four consecutive semesters as long as the student maintains good academic standing.
Transfer Scholarships have been presented to Jessica Allan of Orchard Park; Adrienne Baer of West Seneca; Jillian Baker of Hamburg; Kelly Bigos of West Valley; Edward Blasak of Hamburg; Suzette Bonerb of Orchard Park; Michelle Bykowicz of Depew; Sara Carter of East Concord; Tonia Copeland of Arcade; Jessenia Crespo of Buffalo; Erin Dagel of Newark; Rachel D’Angelo of Jamestown; Ryan Delafuente of West Seneca; Kate DeMont of Hamburg; Jennifer Detwiler of Orchard Park; and Joseph DiNardo of Kenmore.
