HAMBURG, NY - The women’s volleyball traveled to Penn State Behrend on Wednesday, October, 21 for an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) match up. Behrend came out on top defeating the Hawks in three sets (25-8, 25-14, 25-6). The loss drops Hilbert’s record to 1-5 in conference play.
The Hawks managed to tally fourteen kills throughout the three games played. Junior

Carole Jones (Bliss, NY/ Letchworth)

Rachel Kwiatkowski (West Seneca, NY/ Orchard Park) {in photo to right} each recorded three kills respectively. Jonathan also recorded eight assists on the day.
On the defensive end the Hawks registered sixteen digs and two blocks as a team. Brandi Mack (Gasport, NY/ Roy Hart) led all digs for the Hawks with six for the day.
Hilbert returns to the court on Saturday, October, 24 as they travel to Steubenville, Ohio where they will face another conference opponent of Franciscan University at 1 p.m. Hilbert ranks ahead of Franciscan in the AMCC standings heading into this weekend's match.
