HAMBURG, N.Y. – Hilbert College President Dr. Michael S. Brophy is pleased to host a World Cinema Series at Hilbert’s William E. Swan Auditorium. The program, which is co-sponsored by the Communications Department, is an educational film series incorporating an interdisciplinary approach for Hilbert students and supports Hilbert’s objective to boost lifelong learning in the community. For this fall, the series will feature internationally renowned films from France, Germany, and Poland.

- Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 7 p.m. – “Les Intouchables” (France)
Presented by Carol Bernat
- Based on a true story, "The Intouchables" is the story of a wealthy, physically disabled risk taker, the picture of established French nobility, who lost his wife in an accident and whose world is turned upside down when he hires a young, good-humored, black Muslim ex-con as his caretaker.
