HAMBURG, N.Y. – Two Hilbert College accounting majors have been selected to receive two of this year’s highest student honors that will be awarded at the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants Buffalo Chapter’s education dinner being held on April 24.
Eden resident Sarah Zablonski, who will graduate with a bachelor’s degree from Hilbert in May, will receive the New York State Society Award. The honor is presented to a graduating senior with the highest scholastic average in accounting and considered a desirable candidate for admission to the profession of public accounting.
Andrew Besch, an Elma resident, will be presented the John T. Kennedy Memorial Award, which is given to a junior majoring in accounting who has the highest overall scholastic average.
