Sal Buscaglia’s (back row, far right) 39-year women’s basketball coaching career began at Hilbert College, where he went 235-62 from 1977-90. The Hawks won 96 straight league games and made eight straight national tournament appearances. From there, Buscaglia went to the University at Buffalo, where he spent eight years and helped usher the Bulls into the Division I era. He recently retired after 13 years as head coach of the Robert Morris Colonials, leading them to four NCAA Tournament appearances. His career record of 712-369 includes 443 wins at the Division I level.
