-- Three graduate-level and two undergraduate degree completion areas of study now enrolling for fall 2020 --
HAMBURG, N.Y. – Hilbert College announced today it will begin offering five programs fully online, available to students enrolling in the fall of 2020 and beyond.
The college will offer undergraduate completion programs in Criminal Justice and Cybersecurity and graduate degrees in Criminal Justice Administration, Public Administration, and Public Administration with a track focusing on Health Administration. More information on these programs is available here: www.hilbert.edu/online.
“Hilbert has built a tremendous reputation in the law and justice areas of study and we are excited to bring these programs to an online audience,” Hilbert President Michael S. Brophy, Ph.D., M.F.A. said. “Expanding our reach to online is a great opportunity to make a Hilbert education possible for more students. We are thrilled to be able to bring our Catholic, Franciscan private college experience and the support of our distinguished faculty to the online audience.”
The bachelor’s degree completion programs are designed for transfer students with 60 transfer credits from other colleges or universities. Students can complete their bachelor’s degree in less than two years and the competitively-priced programs have been streamlined for easy transfer of credits. Students have access to the digital classroom 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The graduate programs offer an accelerated cohort model, allowing students to complete a single class at a time over five weeks and earning the degree in just 16 months. The advanced degree programs, which also features 24-hour access to the classroom, cost students less than $25,000 to complete.
Hilbert’s new online programs will also give students the opportunity to expand their knowledge base and practical understanding in all areas of public administration, cybersecurity, law enforcement, courts, correctional, probation, and emergency management and education.
The same expert faculty who teach in the traditional on-campus program also teach many of Hilbert’s online criminal justice, public administration and cybersecurity courses. These faculty members lend their expertise to a broad range of government and nongovernmental agencies. Their professional experience enriches their courses and prepares graduates for workplace success. Hilbert has been a leader in law and justice education for more than 45 years.
The Master of Science in Criminal Justice Administration is approved by both the New York State Department of Education and the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
