HAMBURG, N.Y. – This September, Hilbert College is excited to celebrate several very notable occasions, including the 125th Anniversary of the College’s founders, the Franciscan Sisters of St. Joseph, and the 65th Anniversary of Hilbert College. As part of this celebration, Hilbert will host the 125th/65th Anniversary Gala on Saturday, September 10 at 6:00 p.m. on the Hilbert College campus.
This very special black-tie event will feature Lia Lando, WKBW-TV News Anchor and Reporter, as the emcee, as well as a cocktail hour, dinner, and entertainment by the Bobby Millitello Quartet. We do this all while raising funds which are essential in supporting our current and future Hilbert students and their academic success.”
Additionally, this Saturday, September 10 Hilbert will host its inaugural NCAA Division III football game at St. Francis High School’s Polian Family Field. The Hawks will welcome Denison University (Granville, Ohio) in a 12 p.m. kickoff. Gates open at 11:15 a.m. and the first 200 fans will receive a FREE Hilbert College football shirt. Next weekend, Hilbert will host its True Blue Alumni Weekend on Saturday, September 17. Events include the Hilbert football game against Willamette University (Salem, OR) at St. Francis High School followed on the Hilbert campus by a Chicken BBQ dinner, Athletics Hall of Fame Presentation and San Damiano Awards, and a tent party in the quad.
