DELEGATES

Hilbert College welcomes delegates to participate in the academic processional of the Presidential Installation Ceremony. Delegates are members of the faculty or administration or an individual appointed to represent an academic institution.  Delegates will participate in full academic regalia.

DELEGATE REGISTRATION AND REGALIA CHECK

Delegate check-in will begin at 12:00 pm in Paczesny Hall. Delegates will be able to pick up rented regalia and/or check their regalia at this time.  There will a lite lunch provided, so regalia can be held and picked up before the robing and ceremony processional begins.  Personal belongings may also be checked in at this time, and held and secure during the ceremony if you prefer not to carry with you.

PROCESSIONAL LINE UP

Processional Line Up for Delegates/Trustees/Platform Party will take place at 1:30 pm in the West Herr Atrium. 

REGALIA

Delegates will participate in the academic procession in full regalia. Please bring your own regalia or arrange for regalia rental (at your expense) by contacting Eileen Stack in the President's Office at estack@hilbert.edu or 716-926-8773. Rental deadline to avoid express charges is September 15, 2019.

When contacting Eileen for a rental, please provide the following information:

• Your degree
• Area of study
• Granting institution
• Your height if ordering a gown

Rented regalia may be picked up and returned at Delegate Check-In at Paczesny Hall on the day of the ceremony.

Lodging reservations and travel will be at the participant's expense. Please contact the hotel directly for availability and reservations.

Air travel:

Buffalo Niagara International Airport (www.buffaloairport.com) is 17 miles from the Hilbert Campus (approximately 25 minute drive).

Niagara Falls International Airport (www.niagarafallsairport.com) is 35 miles from Hilbert College (approximately 40 minute drive).

Amtrak:

Amtrak offers daily service to either Amtrak Exchange Street Station (BFX) or the Depew Station (BUF).  Both stations are approximately 14 miles from the Hilbert campus.

PARKING & VALET SERVICES

Complimentary parking for delegates and guests will be available on the Hilbert Campus in the parking lot adjacent to the William E. Swan Auditorium. Parking will be available prior to the Installation and through the end of the post-Installation Celebration.
